Addiction Prevention and Recovery Administration FY 2007 Budget Testimony: On March 24, 2006, DC ACT submitted testimony to the Committee on Health regarding the Addiction Prevention and Recovery Administration's FY 2007 proposed budget. Testimony focused on the city's lack of investment for adolescent substance abuse prevention programs.

Medical Assistance Administration FY 2007 Budget Testimony: On March 31, 2006, DC ACT testified before the Committee on Health regarding the Medical Assistance Administration FY 2007 proposed budget. Testimony focused the city's health care expansion to children, health care for undocumented pregnant women and maximizing Medicaid funding. In addition, Monica Brewer, a concerned parent testified on DC ACT's panel in support of the health care expansion for children and youth.

School Health Program FY 2007 Budget Testimony: On March 22, 2006, DC ACT submitted testimony to the Committee on Health regarding the Maternal and Family Health Administration's School Health Program. The testimony focused on the lack of investment to fully fund the School Health Program according to the Department of Health.

Department of Mental Health FY 2007 Budget Testimony: On April 10, 2006, DC ACT submitted testimony to the Committee on Health regarding the Department of Mental Health FY 2007 proposed budget. The testimony focused on the department's inability to effectively serve children in foster care, the expansion of the School Mental Health Program and the lack of budget transparency.
