Support DC Action for Children!
"Not everything can be done one child at a time;
giving to DC ACT promotes change in the whole village."
Since 1992, DC Action for Children (DC ACT) has aggressively worked to improve the
lives of children and families in Washington DC through public awareness,
advocacy, constituency building and collaboration. While we have made strides in
areas of health care, and child care to name a few, we know that far too many
children in our nation's capital are living in poverty, are homeless, are abused
or neglected, and lack safe places to learn and grow.
Your help is needed to continue to turn the tide to ensure that out children have
all of the opportunities to reach their full potential. Invest in the future and
promise of our nation's capital. Help take action to improve the lives and
conditions for children. Make a tax deductible donation to DC Action for Children

ANNUAL FUNDRAISING APPEAL
Dear Friends,
In 2008, DC Action for Children will celebrate 16 years of advocacy on behalf of children and
youth in our nation's capital. We're pleased to report that we achieved a number of significant
accomplishments this year.
Despite our successes, there is much to do. We need your support - now more than ever - as DC
ACT continues to press our city's policymakers to adopt effective policies for children and families.
All of the District's children and youth have great potential. We must work together to help them
achieve it.
Donate to our Annual Giving Campaign.
